The T2 trackpad replaces the traditional trackball on an ultrasound machine by eliminating crevices prone for bacteria growth. Grayhill’s custom solution allows the system to have different speed settings for mouse/cursor operations vs. measurement & tracing modes.

Grayhill designed and manufactures this Ultrasound panel which includes a sculpted plastic bezel, PCB with electronics and firmware, sealed keypad and uniform backlighting. Our own components such as the 62NG Optical Encoder and 60A Joystick Encoder are also integrated.

The custom keypad assemblies made by Grayhill are resistant to the chemicals used in a MRSA decontamination process with no cracks and crevices for cleanability. With each button rated to 3M cycles, the modules provide a rugged and stylish interface in this patient transport bed.
