Grayhill’s custom solution includes hardware and firmware development on both display/keypad modules and a custom 51 Series Rotary Switch used as a function selector on the radio panel. The electronics meet MIL-STD-461 EMC requirements and operate over a wide temperature range. The displays and keypad backlighting is NVIS compatible.

Grayhill provides the plastic housing, electronics, and mechanical design of the entire interface module. The unit is fully compliant to NVIS per MIL-STD-3009 and EMC requirements MIL-STD-461. Our mechanical encoders including the 26 Series and 51BCD Series were also integrated to further assure the reliability of the control panel.

This custom solution integrates our Series 50 Rotary Switches and 30 series pushbutton into a custom hermetically-sealed stainless steel enclosure. Grayhill’s engineers understand the reliability requirements of a bomb fusing application.
