Grayhill is excited to announce that Scott Harrison is joining us as our fourth company President in our 79-year history.
Scott has a tremendous amount of business leadership experience during his nearly 30-year career. Scott is well suited to take on this new challenge in leading and thinking strategically, cultivating teamwork and manufacturing excellence, and growing customer satisfaction.
Scott has a strong background for the position, including roles as General Manager, Vice President & General Manager, and President at various manufacturing businesses. He began his civilian career with Illinois Power and worked at Monitor Labs, Teledyne Technologies, AMETEK, and TASi Group. Scott has a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the United States Naval Academy and has attended executive management courses at Stanford University and the London School of Business. Following graduation from the Naval Academy, he served as a nuclear submarine warfare officer.
Former President Brian May will remain with Grayhill on the Board of Directors as the Vice Chair. His first responsibility will be to ensure a smooth transition and introduce Scott to our key Customers and Suppliers. After that, he will continue to work on Strategic and Operational improvement projects to help ensure Grayhill’s bright future.
